Since releasing his debut album, Anatomy, in 2010, through to his most recent album, Movements, in 2026, Sebastián Oliwa has developed an extensive body of work spanning ambient, neoclassical, drone and landscape music. Across more than fifteen years of recordings, his work has explored imagined geographies, ancestral memory, nature and visions of a distant future.

Over the years, he has released music through independent and DIY labels from around the world, including Rohs! Records in Italy, Inner Islands, Geology Records and Rainbow Pyramid in the United States, Shimmering Moods Records in the Netherlands, and Zeon Light in Sweden.

Alongside his personal work, Sebastián has built an extensive practice as a composer and sound designer for documentary, film and visual media. His work has contributed to projects for production companies and cultural institutions, with original music and sound design appearing in productions around the globe.

His practice has also extended into public art and installations. Sebastián composed the music for A Million Times at Changi, a monumental kinetic installation at Singapore Changi Airport, as well as music and sound for other audiovisual and interactive works. He currently lives and works in southern Spain.
